Believed to be possibly one of the last 4 of this spec left this rare Turbocharged saloon car marked more or less the end of the range of cars that single handedly put Volvo on the map where racing saloon cars were concerned, when they launched the 850 T5 in 1991, then entering an Estate version onto the BTCC before swaping back to the Saloon version and seeing many sucesses on the way.
This particular car has just over 150k on the clock, while not warranted there is a service history up to 67k then invoices , including a cam belt change and mot history that points to it being correct.
Body work while carrying the odd dink is very original, good and rust free. The red paintwork being set of nicely by a set of 17″ Volan” Alloy wheels in anthracite, as found on the T5-R 850.
Interior is excellent, fully loaded and a very high spec including things like full black leather trim with heater seats and mirrors, cruise control, electric drivers seat with memory, even the vanity mirrors in the sun visors are lit!
Its turbo charged engine is very quiet and the autobox functions smoothly. Current Mot is until July 2018.
