Lot 196 – Porsche 911 Targa “Mint” FSH 1988
Estimated Value – £33,000 – £40,000
Presented in gleaming black paint over a cream leather interior with colour matched piping, this superb 1988 911 Targa has been maintained regardless of cost and lived a very cosseted life at the hands of its three enthusiast owners.
The body work is excellent having had a full refresh at the same time the all-important “Kidney Bowls” were replaced with all the work being carried out by a restoration Specialist.
Mechanically there has been thousands spent over the years on its up keep. Suspension was overhauled including new Bilstein shocks all around, replacement anti roll bars, torsion bar components etc. There is a full Dansk stainless sports exhaust including heat exchangers, sports pre-silencer and 1 in 1 out back box with 84mm outlet. The cars heater flaps have also been renewed.
The 3.2 engine in the back is coupled to the desirable “G50” manual gearbox and as the car has its full history right back to and including its original order sheet will all service and repairs carried out by “OPC or respected specialists, you will not be surprised that both the engine and gearbox are described as excellent.
Inside you will find Linen Leather Sports Seats and a Blauplunkt Radio CD amongst all the other options that are standard on a car of this quality and like the rest of the car is also described as excellent with all electrical items working as designed.
With a current MOT until September this is one Porsche 911 you do not want to miss. “Targa” prices have leapt up recently and it is rare to find one as nice as this available outside of a Porsche or Specialists showroom where you will pay a premium price. Just a lovely thing to own, enjoy and invest in.
NOTE: The car is back on its original age related registration F669 *** the personal plate in the images does not form and is in no way part of the sales contract for this vehicle.
